Shelter house rentals for the new year will begin on Wednesday, January 2nd, 7:00am in the Parks and Recreation office (230 Clinton St.). The front door of the Municipal Bldg. will open around 6:30am. There will be a clipboard hanging on the front door when you arrive so that you can put your name on the 'line order list' allowing you to return to your vehicle so you can stay out of the weather. Rentals for the American Legion Pavilion at Homecoming Park and Rotary Park Shelter will require a refundable $100 deposit along with the rental fee. This needs to be done with a seperate check or cash. Current Shelter fees are as follows:

Rotary $150 + $100 refundable deposit
American Legion Pavilion @ Homecoming Park $125 + $100 refundable deposit
Potowatomi, Miami and Shawnee shelters are $35

The Parks and Recreation Dept. will begin taking 2009 shelter house reservations on Monday, January 5th.

The Parks and Recreation Office will open at 7am on this date (note: this is NOT the first business day of the calander year).

All shelter reservations are from 10am to midnight.

Shelter rental rates for 2009 are as follows:

• Reighard Park: $50
• Rotary Park: $150
• Homecoming Park (American Legion Pavilion): $125

The Rotary Park and Homecoming Shelters also require a $100 refundable security deposit.
