MONTPELIER - The Delta boys and the Wauseon girls each claimed their third consecutive Northwest Ohio Athletic League track title last night.
Wauseon and Archbold had the same number of first-place finishes, but the Indians' 27-point advantage after Tuesday's field events proved to be the difference. Wauseon had 149.5 points, while Archbold was second with 128.5 and Patrick Henry third with 85.5.
Holly Baird was a double-winner for the Indians, taking first in both the 1600 and 3200.
Baird's teammate Jessica Jones won the 400 for the fourth straight year, and Wauseon's 800 and 1600 relays also finished first.
