I Would Like A Explenation As To Why My Sewer Problem And The Potential Sewer Problem For All Of East Elm St Was Cut Out Of The Video From Intv This Was A Public City Coucil Meeting On 5-19-08. Footage Should Be From Start To Adjourment. The Council Where The Ones To Start The Discussion. This Issue Is Being Hid From The Public In My Eyes. Maybe We Need A News Channel At The Next Meeting Im Sure They Wont Cut Out Info The City Doesn't Want Seen. Makes You Wonder What Else Is Being Cut Out Or Hidden Behind Our Eyes. I Know For A Fact They Were Taping The Young Ladie Turned The Camera Around Towards Me When I Was Speaking. Well Have To See What The Expostior Writes Also.

I'll email Meg Murphy and see about getting the audio tape recording of the meeting and post it here. I'm pretty sure the minutes are taped and used later to compile the minutes. I'll post her answer here (if any). She's pretty cooperative so far.

INTV is funded by you. In my opinion they shouldn't be editing the meetings. Although I guess they do have the choice to just not film any of it.

By ordinance, and state law - anyone in the city can go to any public meeting and film.

I hear ya. I can think of no reason to edit the film. It would be interesting to get a reason. Who decided to redact it, and why.

Actually I checked INTV 5 and the brodacast I watched didn't have it cut out. Maybe the first time around INTV just cut it off. I've seen that happen, one show just ends in the middle for no reason and a new one starts.
