Hi I am from Pennsylvania I was surprised to see that the mother in the Frisch family had Ehlers Danlos Syndrome. My 15 year old daughter and myself also have this condition. I have never met or spoke with anyone else with the same condition. I would love to be able to speak or write to Mrs. Frisch regarding her condition to better understand from her perspective some of the problems she has had and has had to overcome. I am trying to prepare my daughter and myself for what could be in our future with EDS. This is a condition that not many people know about or understand. Even when you go to your family doctor they are unaware of what this condition is all about. If would be great to speak with someone with this same condition. If anyone knows how I could contact the Frisch family or if they would be able to get my information to them, could you please let me know here on this forum. Thank you.

The Ehlers-Danlos National Foundation (EDNF) has a web site at EDNF.org. There you will find many who have this disorder in the U.S. EDS has several subtypes that are assigned to different types of EDS. While the subtypes can range in symptoms, the severity of the syndrome is individual. I have type III and a milder case. My daughter has Type III a little more severely than mine but still it is considered a milder case.
