Default Downtown fire - one year later

Ground breaking about to begin on a 6 million dollar devolopment to replace buildings razed in the fire.

I would bet that the hotel will do well.
It should be under construction pretty soon, but I don't know exactly when. They're getting permits now, so - within six months?

Hey Jim,
I'm just curious as to why you think the hotel would do well.

I'm a little too young to remember any other hotels down town, but from what I hear none of them did all that well.

I'm not saying you're wrong, I'm just interested in the reasons why people think it will be successful.

I guess it depends on the daily rate, but there's not too many decent hotels around here. I suppose if the rooms are small and overpriced it probably won't do well.

There's basicly only two hotel/motels in town and the rest need torn down and rebuilt.
